PrintRite 3D 5.0 software provides real-time analysis
PrintRite 3D 5.0 Sigma Labs’ combination of software and hardware functions as a third-party quality-assurance tool for metal 3-D printers, which can be used to make components for molds and tooling. Its coaxial sensors collect thermal emissions of the metal melt pools, and its software and proprietary algorithms identify part anomalies. It is available as a retrofit or in an OEM integration package for all machines on the market.
What’s new? Real-time analysis. Operators can make adjustments to keep parts within acceptable ranges as they print.
Benefits Time and money savings. Users can identify potential problems more quickly, without the need for expensive computed tomography scans or destructive testing methods. The software can be used with a single stand-alone printer or on multiple machines for serial production using a client’s server or cloud-based network. The software also can use suspect part data for process improvement and optimization.
