Vericut This software from CGTech can be used to simulate and optimize CNC machining strategies.

What’s new? Version 9.0, which is slated to come out as early as next quarter. The new version — an improvement over the current eighth generation — features new, enhanced graphics and improved connectivity. It also expands upon and simplifies the ways that users can section a part. In addition, it provides flexibility to switch between workpiece and machine views, as well as layouts and docking arrangements.

Benefits Greater ease of use and improved simulations, resulting in better- quality parts. Version 9.0 provides sharper views of the cutting process and, compared to working without the simulation software, reduces overall machine times by 30 percent to 50 percent.
