Hasco expands U.S. availability of mold cooling components

Jan. 27, 2023
The entire range will be available in inch and NPT specs, rather than metric specs.

Fittings for cooling Hasco’s standard components for mold cooling can handle water with temperatures of up to 302 degrees Fahrenheit, oil at up to 392 degrees Fahrenheit; high-temperature components can handle 356-degree Fahrenheit and 428-degree oil- and air-based media.

What’s new? The availability of the entire fitting range in the U.S. from Hasco, which is based in Germany, in inch and NPT specs, rather than metric specs. All the fittings work with standard inch styles for couplings, fittings and hoses. Along with rounding out the range of offerings, Hasco has improved its couplings and fittings using stronger, high-quality materials.

Benefits Greater versatility.  Because of their improved design, the fittings also are more robust. With the fittings, mold technicians in the North American market can more easily switch out fittings.
