Hexagon's NCSimul software verifies G-code

Jan. 3, 2022
The newest version, 2022.0, offers improved animations, reporting module.

NCSimul This G-code verification software from Hexagon Manufacturing can simulate turning, drilling, three- to five-axis milling and other machining tasks. The software provides an exact digital twin of each machine, tool and material that is being simulated, so that G-code can be verified digitally rather than on a real machine.

What’s new? NCSimul 2022.0, which introduces improvements to its reporting module and the animations in its simulations.

Benefits A quick return on investment. Proving out codes on the digital twin instead of on a physical machine frees up productive machining time and avoids potential damage and downtime caused by collisions due to faulty code. NCSimul is compatible with more than 15 commercial CAM systems, and can simulate CNC machines from dozens of different makers. It has a simple tab and icon setup, and users can be trained in less than two days.
