RimStar The PU multi-component metering machines in this KraussMaffei series have a space-saving design with a footprint of only about 52 square feet. They are useful for applications involving automotive and appliance parts. They feature double-walled agitator tanks, filling-level sensors, integrated temperature control, automatic air dryers and plate heat exchangers.
What's new? Numerous new features, including energy consumption monitoring, KraussMaffei’s dataXplorer for advanced data analysis, a new HMI, the automated adjustment of pump output according to wear and KraussMaffei’s precisionMixhead for processing PU. A RimStar Compact will demonstrate the new features at the K Show, but KraussMaffei plans to roll them out to other models in the RimStar series.
Benefits Optimized temperature; pressure and process control; higher component quality and lower scrap; and ease of use and maintenance. The new features make the RimStar machines even easier to control, even for less-experienced users. According to KraussMaffei, in the future, such features will facilitate automatic adjustments and make it possible to completely relieve operators of certain tasks.
