Corotec appoints Elik Dvorkin as president

He joins the corona and plasma surface treatment specialist from Thermatool, another member of the Inductotherm Group.

Elik Dvorkin has been named president of Corotec Corp.

Corotec Corp., a manufacturer of corona and plasma surface treating equipment for web, sheet and 3D applications, has appointed Elik Dvorkin as president. Corotec is a member of the Inductotherm Group of companies, which provide advanced material processing technologies worldwide.  

He comes from Thermatool, another Inductotherm Group company, where he most recently served as VP of technology. Over a 20-year career in the industrial, scientific and printing industries, he has led multidisciplinary teams in bringing new power, controls and automation platforms to market.  

Dvorkin will be responsible for strengthening Corotec’s global strategy, including product roadmap, engineering, aftermarket support and go-to-market alignment with Inductotherm Group brands and regional businesses.  

He succeeds Tom Ignatowski, who was recently named president of Thermatool. 

Corotec Corp., based in East Haven, Conn., designs and manufactures surface treating systems for both conductive and non-conductive materials, including narrow web and wide web corona treaters, 3D and sheet-fed systems, Plasma-Jet, ozone generators and destruction units, and unwind–rewind stations.
