Fanuc America unveils campus expansion

The automation company's operations now cover nearly 2 million square feet in Oakland County, Mich.

Robotics and automation provider Fanuc America plans to celebrate the opening of the 650,000-square-foot expansion of its West Campus facility in Auburn Hills, Mich., on July 10.  

The new facility was built on 67 acres. It includes a former law school building that will serve as a state-of-the-art Fanuc Academy customer training center. The expansion is part of Fanuc’s five-year investment strategy across the U.S. and underscores the company’s commitment to the future of American manufacturing. 

The new West Campus and Fanuc Academy together total 782,000 square feet of floor space, bringing Fanuc’s operational space in Oakland County, Mich., to nearly 2 million square feet.
