Thermal Technology Distribution Solutions (TTDS), a platform for the distribution of industrial temperature-management and related products backed by Gryphon Investors, a San Franciso private equity firm, has acquired Proheat Inc.
Based in La Grange, Ky., Proheat's experienced management team will remain with the company, which distributes heaters, sensors, control and related support to manufacturers.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition is the second for TTDS, established in September 2023. The company’s first acquisition was Big Chief Inc., a leading distributor of electric process heating and temperature-control products for the industrial market.
