Aquapak Polymers Ltd. announced the appointment of Tom Barrett as chief operating officer, based at the main manufacturing site in Birmingham, U.K.
His previous positions include serving as director of operations at aerospace firm Sigma, and experience in the plastics sector as operations manager of WHS Plastics Ltd. He will be responsible for Aquapak’s expansion as it develops its portfolio of products and applications.
Aquapak CEO Mark Lapping expressed his pleasure as Barrett joined the company. “Tom has a fantastic track record of managing multi-site businesses and ensuring they operate efficiently and cost-effectively. We welcome him to the team.”
Based in Birmingham, Aquapak develops and manufactures polymer-based material technologies that are functional, recyclable and environmentally responsible.
