UAW expands strike to 38 Stellantis, GM parts distributors

Union increases pressure on two of the Big Three, acknowledges movement in talks with Ford.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) is expanding its strike against Stellantis N.V. and General Motors Co., adding 38 parts distribution centers to the strike begun Sept. 15. Meanwhile, UAW president Shawn Fain said the union is making progress in its talks with Ford Motor Co.
