Toyota makes $100,000 donation to Red Cross
Toyota Material Handling (TMH) and its partner companies announced a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help communities that suffered damage from Hurricane Ian.
Flooding and damage from the hurricane led to dozens of blood drives being cancelled and leaving the Southeast in a deficit for blood and platelet donations. TMH also hosted a blood drive that collected 84 units of blood that went to the American Red Cross.
“Toyota Material Handling not only supports the American Red Cross financially in these times of severe need, but also with a large number of associate volunteers and regular blood drives,” said Bill Finerty, president and CEO of TMH. “We are proud to support disaster relief in Florida and the Carolinas as they continue to face hardship in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.”
