The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) has chosen Smithbucklin and its 360 Live Media to serve as its agency of record for NPE2024: The Plastics Show.

Smithbucklin will offer exhibitor sales and support services, while 360 Live Media will provide marketing and media strategies. The deal signs the agency, based in Chicago and Washington, through 2027.

PLASTICS COO Glenn Anderson said, “We talked to a lot of groups, and it was clear that Smithbucklin and 360 Live Media bring the right combination of successful association experience and events expertise to the table.”

NPE hit its largest-ever numbers in 2018, with 2,182 exhibiting companies in more than 1.2 million net square feet of sold-out exhibit floor space, but concerns over the spread of COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2021 show.

“I’d like nothing more than to see NPE2024 blow our 2018 numbers out of the water, and Smithbucklin and 360 Live Media are the right partners to help us do it,” Anderson said.
