Husky system designed for closure production
HyCAP Pro The latest generation of Husky’s integrated injection molding system for beverage closures combines a 300-ton press with dual RS injection units, a 72-cavity mold with optimized hot-runner technology, integrated resin feeding and downstream equipment. Closure free-fall is decoupled from the mold’s open-and-close motion, minimizing non-process time to enable faster cycles and higher output. It is designed for the latest generation of HDPE materials and can handle throughputs of up to 573 pounds per hour. Intelligent system monitoring maximizes uptime and simplifies operation, with features including Smart Start/Stop, Mold ID, energy monitoring, extended service intervals and Husky’s Advantage+Elite predictive monitoring system.
