HoliMaker press allows prototyping with high-temperature materials

The HoliPress High Temp manual injection molding machine can operate at up to 932 degrees F.

HoliPress High Temp Intended for prototyping, this manual injection molding machine features an active liquid cooling system and is capable of operating at up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a dual heated nozzle and an active liquid cooling system.

What’s new? The prototyping press, released in May. Designed for challenging materials, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and polyetherether ketone (PEEK), the HoliPress High Temp can handle hotter temperatures than Holimaker’s first two machines, which max out at 608 degrees Fahrenheit.

Benefits The ability to perform rapid prototyping with high-temperature resins, including all technical and high-performance materials. To streamline the prototyping process, the HoliPress High Temp can use 3D printed molds and the same materials as an industrial press used for final production, making it perfect for prototyping.
