Insulating sheets come in more variations

Hasco's sheets cut energy loss and maintain mold temperature for quality control and reliability.
March 4, 2026

Thermal insulating sheets Made from glass-fiber fabric and high-temperature resin, Hasco’s insulating sheets prevent uncontrolled heat loss into machine platens from injection molding and compression molding tools. Clean-room versions are available.

What’s new? More options. Hasco has extended its Z12120 range with new sheets with thicknesses of 6mm and 8mm; to ensure an accurate fit, the company also now offers locating flange variants Z7515, Z7526 and Z7527 that have been matched to the new sheets.

Benefits Better energy efficiency. By using the sheets, Hasco says users can cut energy loss roughly in half; at the same time, the more-homogeneous mold temperature improves both component quality and process reliability, and more-effective heating shortens set-up times and increases productivity.
