Dynamico mold TCUs utilize AI

Frigel's new technology automatically adjusts water temperatures to shorten cycle times and save energy.
Jan. 26, 2026

Dynamico Frigel's artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted dynamic mold temperature control technology uses advanced algorithms to provide users with step-by-step guidance to reduce cooling time to the shortest possible duration while still ensuring final product quality. The technology can replace conventional temperature controllers. It is offered in both single- and dual-zone versions and several configurations: S and P units operate without a chiller and reach a minimumtemperature setpoint of 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit above the central cooling system; the Y unit has an integrated chiller and can reach a minimum temperature setpoint of 50 degrees Fahrenheit, independent of the central cooling system.

What's new? The controller, which already is in use by molders of technical parts for the automotive, medical and packaging industries.Unlike traditional temperature controllers, which maintain constant and stable temperature control, the new technology automatically and programmatically adjusts mold water temperatures throughout the process. Booster pumps are designed to deliver flow rates as much as five times more powerful than conventional temperature controllers.

Benefits Shorter cycle times, increased productivity and reduced energy costs. Frigel guarantees customers they will achieve ROI from the dryers, or will refund the investment.
