S-GenXt Hydraulic The injection molding machines (IMMs) in this Shibaura series have a servo motor and hydraulic pump. Depending on the plasticizing unit and clamping force, throughputs range from about 135 pounds per hour to almost 419 pounds per hour. Shibaura’s proprietary binary injection molding technology improves cycle times and lowers costs, while its machiNetCloud IIoT platform connects IMMs and auxiliaries, and it offers functions such as real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and energy tracking.

What’s new? The machine line, which Shibaura displayed at the K show, along with a model from the company’s new EC-SXIII All-Electric series. At the show, Shibaura featured its 200-ton S-GenXt 180-7A Hydraulic injection molding machine using a two-cavity mold and in-mold labeling automation to produce parts using recycled PET.

Benefits Efficient, cost-effective, precise processing.
