CoPilot Go speeds mold trials, troubleshooting
CoPilot Go This new stand-alone RJG technology connects to the mold via the mold clamp input and monitors cavity pressure, allowing users to contain suspect parts without the time and cost of machine interfaces or extra modules. It can be used by mold makers and injection molders.
What’s new? The feature, available for the last few months.
Benefits Faster and more efficient early-stage tool trials and troubleshooting activities, and the ability to collect valuable process data without the need for a machine connection or investment required. The feature allows users to accelerate setup and contain defects instantly, and capture part data and templates on the fly, without having to interface with an injection molding machine, reducing set-up time and costs. The feature’s cavity-pressure-based analysis allows users to isolate and correct shorts and flash more efficiently, while pressure templates make possible automated sorting of good and bad parts.
