2465 injection unit This new Engel injection unit is built to handle demanding high-performance applications and thin-wall molding.  

What’s new? The injection unit, which features a new rotary slide shut-off nozzle. At the Drinktec show in September in Munich, Engel showed a dosing drive with a screw circumferential speed of up to about 3.3 feet per second as part of a machine cell producing caps for beverage bottles.  

Benefits Suitability for packaging applications that require speed and precise control of highly viscous materials. At Drinktec, the injection unit on display worked on a 427-ton e-cap 380 machine to produce 48 38mm caps every 4 seconds.
