Engel device controls cooling water flow

e-flomo This Engel device determines and controls the actual water-flow rates required in an injection mold. 

What’s new? Engel’s e-flomo one, featuring a new control system that regulates flow rate and temperature difference directly at the main cooling connection. Engel developed the device specifically for applications with high cooling water demand. The company is demonstrating it at Drinktec in Munich Sept. 15-19, in an e-cap 380 injection molding cell producing closures. 

Benefits Continuous monitoring of cooling processes and precise adjustments. The e-flomo one enables targeted optimization of the cooling water volume, automatically compensates for seasonal temperature fluctuations and thus reduces water consumption. By ensuring stable cooling conditions, the e-flomo one makes a significant contribution to reducing scrap.
