Bigger TCU from Engel facilitates greater efficiency

Engel has expanded its e-temp line of mold temperature control units with the addition of the e-temp XL.

Engel has expanded its e-temp of mold temperature control units with the XL e-temp, the biggest in the series.

e-temp Engel’s e-temp mold temperature control units (TCUs) work exclusively with Engel injection molding machines and automatically regulate their pump speed based on actual process conditions. Control of the TCU can be integrated into the control of the press.

What’s new? The size. The new XL model of the e-temp has a larger pump capacity and greater maximum available heat output. Introduced at K 2019, the XL e-temp will hit the U.S. market in the fall.

Benefits Efficiency. Because it has greater pump capacity, the XL e-temp can replace several smaller units, reducing the overall equipment footprint, required piping, energy consumption and maintenance costs.
