WKP 10.000S This hydraulic compression molding press from Wickert, Landau, Germany, can process elastomers, TPEs and high-temperature resins such as PEEK at temperatures as hot as 842 degrees Fahrenheit. It can make products such as aeronautic parts. It is designed to use molds with two parting lines, providing two molding areas that are each 3.2 feet square. In the U.S., Desma USA Inc. represents Wickert.

What’s new? Customized automation and a new, Industry 4.0- capable control. At K 2019, Wickert demonstrated the WKP 10.000S with a take-out robot operating with a 40-second cycle time. The company can tailor the automation to each customer’s specific application.

Benefits Optimized, automated production. The new control analyzes machine sensor data to control and enhance the molding process.
