Allrounder Arburg’s Allrounder injection molding machines include hybrid, electrical, horizontal and vertical models. Presses in the line have clamping forces ranging from 14 tons to 730 tons and are appropriate for a wide variety of applications.

What’s new? The plasticizing assistant software function, available on thermoplastic presses equipped with the company’s Gestica and Selogica controllers. The assistant makes use of a “smart” plasticizing cylinder with an integrated memory chip. It uses the data from the chip to automatically calculate the appropriate process parameters, such as resin dwell times. The assistant also saves module and process history data, such as operating hours and throughput, on the chip.

Benefits Fast evaluation and optimization of material processing. Additionally, saving module and process history data improves troubleshooting, and the data is the basis for predictive maintenance.
