C-Series Claw These vacuum pumpsfromElmo Rietschle employ two counter-rotating rotors with a unique claw shape that constrict the volume of the incoming air without coming into contact with each other. They can be used by OEMs or retrofitted into equipment for a variety of functions including pneumatic conveying of plastic pellets, thermoforming and pick-and-place operations. Elmo Rietschle is a Gardner Denver brand.

What’s new? New sizes. The company has added new models, including the C-VLR 62 and C-VLR 122 that were displayed at K 2019, that fill gaps in performance for the series.

Benefits Ease of maintenance. Gardner Denver said its claw technology is more efficient than traditional vane technology in most cases, and its design requires less maintenance, with no need to change vanes. These vacuum pumps have a compact footprint, are highly efficient and offer energy savings. ATEX-compliant versions are available.
