Compact cell This new parts-removal automation cell from Engel can be combined with various models of the company’s injection molding machines. The specific automation components that are included, such as tray servers and box changers, are determined by each customer’s needs. The cell on display at K 2019 included a box changer into which a viper robot placed finished parts. The cell was designed so that when it opens, the box changer automatically moves to the side, allowing easy access to the mold.

What’s new? The compact cell, which made its global debut at K 2019.

Benefits Compact size, versatility and fully automated parts handling. The automation cell’s standardized design makes it simple to add extra components and speeds its reconfiguration for product changes.
