Creo 6.0 This updated 3-D computer-aided design, engineering and manufacturing software from PTC can be used for a wide range of tasks, including designing parts for 3-D printers or programming the manufacture of molds and tooling using 2.5- to 5-axis machining.

What’s new? Version 6.0, which launched in March. It offers real-time simulation, augmented reality and design for additive manufacturing, as well as new mini-toolbar workflows and modernized feature dashboards.

Benefits Improved performance and flexibility. Designers can move from initial concept to print in one design environment, with no data translation errors or lost time. With the Creo Simulation Live feature, Creo 6.0 offers real-time feedback on designs, without need for prototypes. Its cloud-based augmented reality capability offers a secure link for vendors, customers and colleagues to see a 3-D image superimposed on the physical world at scale using a mobile device, rather than being limited to viewing a 2-D image.
