HDV This line of horizontal digital video systems from Starrett can be used for quality-control applications in the laboratory or on the shop floor to compare the measurements of actual parts against reference models.

What’s new? Numerous improvements to the HDV300 and HDV400 models, including an all-new stage design, improved LED lighting, enhancements for ease of use and modifications enabling faster performance. The machines, each of which comes with a 24-inch touch-screen monitor, have been redesigned to minimize the external wiring and connections of their computers and controllers. In addition, a host of new options are available; they include a swing-away backlight, a rotary positioning device, thread-measurement software and calibration tools.

Benefits Increased accuracy, productivity, performance and user-friendliness. Compared to previous versions, the newest-generation models are faster: They attain speeds that are three times faster along the Y-axis and nearly twice as fast along the X-axis.
