Metrology software analyzes surface finishes

Bandify 3D Digital Metrology’s software can be used with a variety of surface-measurement instruments to evaluate the finish and texture of plastic parts. It analyzes data regarding characteristics such as gloss and smoothness, then presents the information in charts on a single-screen user interface.

What’s new? The software, which has been on the market since mid-June.

Benefits Ease of use. The software, featuring a drag-and-drop interface, allows users to set up, modify and store settings, including the pass-fail limits for particular parts.
