Soft Robotics' new end-of-arm grippers are available in multiple lengths
mGrip Soft Robotics has introduced air-actuated, pliable end-of-arm-tooling grippers that can pick up a wide variety of items, even odd-shaped or delicate ones. The grippers come with control units that allow users to save as many as eight grip-strength profiles. With this feature, the grippers can handle different products without harm — for example, parts with very thin sections or that are still warm from the mold.
What’s new? The grippers.
Benefits Adaptability. Depending on the task, the grippers can handle objects that vary in size, shape and weight with little or no additional programming. Kits allow users to assemble multiple pairs of grippers in circular or parallel orientations to accommodate parts of different shapes and sizes. The grippers also are available in multiple lengths.
