Color iMatch This X-Rite formulation software works with color-measurement instruments, such as spectrophotometers from X-Rite and other companies, to help compounders, masterbatch makers and quality-control professionals process color data and obtain optimal color matches. It can identify the best possible formulas using a processor’s colorant combinations to achieve the desired color for part production.

What’s new? Color iMatch 10, which comes out next month. It features a new multi-flux matching engine, as well as a new search-and-correct algorithm to generate appropriate formulas and create specific colors.

Benefits The development of consistent formulations. Having the right formulations helps processors to limit rejected parts; cut down on wasteful, failed formulation efforts; and achieve cost savings through the reuse of leftover materials.
