Faro software streamlines workflows

BuildIT Metrology Faro’s 3-D metrology software offers real-time visual feedback on CAD-to-part inspection, data collection and analysis. It has a 20-year history of use in alignment, inspection and build applications. The software provides a universal interface compatible with all major portable CMMs and laser projectors, from Faro and other manufacturers.

What’s new? A new version, BuildIT Metrology 2019. The latest version allows a skilled metrologist to perform an inspection routine on a mold or part, and create a workflow to guide other operators to perform repeatable inspections. Its dynamic reporting feature automatically populates analysis reports, reducing preparation time.

Benefits Efficiency, speed and versatility. Point cloud alignment and registration are now up to 10 times faster, while the required memory to store data files has been reduced by as much as 70 percent.
