TelsoFlex This modular, customizable control software from Telsonic Ultrasonics works with Telsonic’s ultrasonic plastic welding presses, as well as cut-and-seal and plastic-welding automation lines. It controls welding parameters and monitors real-time production data. It can be operated from the touch panel of an individual welding press, or a separate screen can be viewed and operated from a workstation outside the production area.

What’s new? TelsoFlex, which debuted in the U.S. in February.

Benefits Industry 4.0 compatibility. TelsoFlex uses the OPC-UA protocol, and can work with other software systems, such as manufacturing- execution and enterprise-resource-planning software. Welding results can be saved on a USB stick drive or stored automatically on a network to simplify quality-control measures and ensure traceability.
