Absolute Group of Companies has named Jeff Brown as regional sales manager for the Midwest states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

Brown has previous sales management experience with injection molding machinery suppliers Boy Machines, Inc. and Yizumi North America and is familiar with electric and servo-hydraulic injection molding machine technology from 40 to 8,000 U.S. tons.

He will be based in the Ohio Technical Center in Parma and will be responsible for sales for both Absolute Haitian (injection molding machines) and Absolute Robot (automation).

“We’ve grown quickly in the Midwest and felt we needed to have a dedicated regional sales manager to support our customers and sales representatives,” said Sherman McGinnis, VP of sales for Absolute Haitian and Absolute Robot. “Jeff has been involved in manufacturing sales for more than 30 years, beginning with Castle Metals, where he was involved in the specification and sales of metal material for the manufacture of platens for molding machines. His extensive knowledge will be a great asset.”

Absolute Group is headquartered in Worcester, Mass., and is the sales and service representative in the U.S. and Canada for Ningbo Haitian Machinery Co., Ltd. based in Ningbo, China, the world’s largest supplier of plastics injection molding machinery.
