The Engel Group, Schwertberg, Austria, has begun the global rollout of the all-electric Wintec E-win injection molding machines outside Asia.

The Wintec brand, with compact designs and lower costs, is aimed at processors that need standard, small to medium-sized machines on short notice, as opposed to Engel’s individually configured production solutions.

An E-win 1800 IMM was displayed at K 2025. The Wintec machines are manufactured in China.

The machines cover clamping forces from about 112 tons to about 562 tons. The all-electric drive technology provides precise and dynamic control of all main movements for high repeatability and reproducibility as well as stable shot weights.

Energy is only required during actual movements, which reduces costs.

The E-win presses use Engel’s C3 control system, and they are compatible with the company's various iQ digital assistant systems for process control.
