Niigata injection molding machines are now being sold exclusively in the U.S. and Canada by Absolute Haitian Corp., but service and spare parts for machines sold before March 1 are still available from the previous seller, Niigata Machine Techno USA Inc.

“We have an obligation to people with machines sold in the last five years that are still under warranty,” said Dan Selakovic, VP/director at Niigata Inc., as the company is now known. “We have a big inventory of parts for both warranty and non-warranty service, and we can order anything we need from the factory.”

Absolute Haitian Corp., which started selling Niigata machines on March 1, also services all Niigata presses and has hired a technician with Niigata experience. Absolute Haitian is headquartered in Moncks Corner, S.C., with offices in Worcester, Mass., and Parma, Ohio.

Chinese manufacturer Haitian International acquired the Niigata brand in early 2023 and transitioned sales and service in the U.S. and Canada to Absolute Haitian this year.

Niigata Machine Tools was not part of the Haitian acquisition. Niigata Inc., located in Elk Grove Village, Ill., still sells machines bearing that label in the U.S.
