Netstal’s announcement that it has selected a new head of sales was also a homecoming for Felix Hüthmair, a Netstal alumnus who has returned to the company 20 years after he departed.
Hüthmair, who is now vice president sales for Netstal, had served as the company’s area sales manager in the Asia and Oceania region from 1997 to 2003. As a new member of the management team, he is responsible for global sales in the application-specific business areas.
In the interim since he left Netstal, he served in various plastics industry management positions in Switzerland and Austria, including heading the technical injection molding division at Engel Austria.
In his new role at Netstal, he will pursue targeted growth in the strategic business areas of packaging, PET, closures and medical technology. Hüthmair reports directly to CEO Renzo Davatz, who had led the Netstal sales organization since spring 2021.
