Austrian injection molding machine maker Engel has achieved Platinum status from EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of sustainability ratings for companies.
Engel now ranks among the top 1 percent of the world's most sustainable companies.
“We are proud that our sustainability drive has once again been objectively confirmed,” said Engel Group CEO Stefan Engleder. “It proves that we, as a company, are sticking to our principles, even in challenging times.”
EcoVadis produces its rankings using data from more than 90,000 evaluated companies, considering the companies' environmental, social and ethical performance. Engel announced in 2022 it had achieved Gold status.
