ACS expands capabilities of MiVue

Oct. 12, 2023
The IIOT package can now work with more than a dozen types of equipment.

MiVue This comprehensive Industrial Internet-of-Things package from ACS allows plant managers to gain real-time insights into production and machinery condition data generated by auxiliary equipment. The system’s cellular router connects injection molding and extrusion machines with auxiliary equipment through secure and encrypted data transmission. The package includes proprietary software, connectivity hardware, data storage, data analytics and support for service and maintenance. The software can be used on any web-enabled device, and users can receive text and email alerts from the system.

What’s new? Expanded plant monitoring capabilities. Originally tested for use with AEC gravimetric blenders and desiccant bed dryers, MiVue now is available on VacTrac Plus DiO conveying controllers, Accumeter loss-in-weight blenders, GH gravimetric feeders, GH hopper inventory monitors and T50 central granulators. In all, the package can work with more than a dozen types of equipment, including dryers, blenders, chillers, granulators, conveyors and temperature control units.

Benefits Improved machine uptime, reduced costs, and better service and maintenance operations. By leveraging data, users can better plan maintenance and react more quickly to problems.
