Wittmann sees record 2021
Wittmann Group said sales in fiscal year 2021 reached about $376 million, which was the third-highest year in company history. Despite supply chain problems, the company has an optimistic outlook for the near future.
In May, the company commissioned the last extension stage for Plant 1 of Wittmann USA Inc. in Torrington, Conn. This will add 10,763 square feet of space for automation systems and complete injection molding cells, as well as a solar power system to the structure. Plans are being developed for nearby Plant 2 to undergo a similar extension.
The company has also shepherded a series of expansions in Austria, Germany and Poland recently.
With headquarters in Vienna, Austria, Wittmann Group manufactures injection molding machines, robots and auxiliary equipment.
