3D scanner is lightweight and affordable

Evatronix's Optima+ M, which replaces the earlier HD Optima scanner, is easy to integrate with robots because of its weight.

Optima+ M  Evatronix SA makes a range of 3D scanners under its eviXscan 3D brand. Its Optima+ M is a standalone 3D scanning system that can be used for non-contact quality-control tasks, reverse engineering and rapid prototyping. It has a scanning range optimized for measuring items from 2.7 inches to 3.3 feet in size, and it captures scans with a density of 117 points per square millimeter.

What’s new? The Optima+ M, which replaces the company’s HD Optima scanner.

Benefits Accuracy and affordability. The Optima+ M combines high-speed cameras with its blue LED digital light processing projection system for scanning accuracy as precise as 0.009mm, and a scan acquisition time of 1.2 seconds. Its lightweight construction allows it to be easily integrated with robots and cobots with payloads as low as 11 pounds for automated scanning. The complete scanning system is available for $29,900.
