March 28, 2022

2022 Artec Leo Artec 3D’s original Leo handheld scanner was the industry’s first AI-powered wireless 3D scanner, according to the company. The 2022 Artec Leo is the latest version of the scanner and is appropriate for a range of tasks within manufacturing operations, including reverse engineering and quality control.

What’s new? The 2022 Artec Leo. It features an NVIDIA Jetson TX2 processor that more than doubles the power of the original Leo scanner, as well as a new user interface and an easier-to-use screen.

Benefits Guaranteed accuracy. Each scanner comes with a calibration certificate, as well as a calibration kit that lets users test and fine-tune the scanner to the environment it’s being used in. Its auto temperature control feature protects it from temperature changes that could mar reading accuracy. It has improved color capture, with a texture optimization algorithm that speeds its processing and loading of data for creating 3D color models. Its multilingual interface is now available in six languages.
