B&R creates new role for EV batteries

B&R Industrial Automation Corp. has promoted Ronny Guber to the newly created position of industry manager for electromobility.

Guber has worked for B&R for more than 15 years as an application engineer, in sales roles and most recently leading its sales office in Regensburg, Germany. Guber will serve as a single point of contact for automakers and their suppliers, to help deal with increasing demand for EV battery systems.

With headquarters in Roswell, Ga., B&R is a member of the ABB Group and specializes in offering complete automation solutions, from robots and motion control to HMI and safety technologies.
