Bridge cranes Air Technical Industries has introduced a series of free-standing bridge cranes for use above work cells and workstations. With load capacities ranging from 500 pounds to 5 tons, they are a simple solution for lifting, handling, assembly and work-positioning operations.

What’s new? The low-profile bridge cranes, which are available as do-it-yourself kits or as a turnkey installation. A double-girder design allows the hoist to be carried between the beams with only the hook hanging below the bridge. This provides greater clearance in low-headroom areas. They can be installed independently of any existing structural supports and require no modifications to a building’s structure. This makes the bridge cranes ideally suited for use in rented facilities. Their standard control pendant is wired, but they can be upgraded to wireless radio controls.

Benefits Fast installation, affordability and flexibility. Air Technical Industries can customize the size of the units to meet a wide variety of needs. The bridge and hoist travel can be manually operated for small loads, or upgraded to motorized operation. Additionally, the cranes can be tailored for specialized requirements, such as hazardous areas and clean rooms, and can easily be moved when needed.
