MoldTrax revamps mold-maintenance tracking system
MoldTrax MoldTrax’s mold-maintenance documentation system tracks the performance, maintenance efficiency and repair costs for a variety of molds and dies, including injection and blow molds.
What’s new? MoldTrax MTWeb, the latest version of the system, which has numerous upgrades and new features, such as the ability to manage multiple operations worldwide in five languages. The system automatically converts raw data into charts and graphs to make it easier for users to identify high-cost or high-frequency maintenance issues. The new mold-performance dashboard shows maintenance and repair costs by cycles, defects and run hours for specific molds and for all molds across multiple manufacturing locations. A maintenance efficiency dashboard helps ascertain areas in which technician training is needed. Additionally, the system has a predictive maintenance alert module and an expanded hot-runner section that includes more fields for maintaining manifolds and tracking related components. A check sheet where users can list mold components that require routine inspections promotes more consistent repairs and cleanings.
Benefits Proactive maintenance. The system allows users to take control of their mold maintenance by creating maintenance goals and targeting issues that slow or stop production.
