MarSurf WI This family of white-light interferometers from Mahr provides users with high-resolution 3-D measurement of the surfaces of products, making it useful for a wide range of production environments, including in the automotive and medical sectors. Models include the WI 50 M, WI 50 and WI 100. They join the company’s other surface-measurement tools, which includes the MarSurf CD, MarSurf GD and MarSurf VD series.

What’s new? The MarSurf WI family, which Mahr developed in collaboration with metrology specialist NanoFocus.

Benefits Ease of use. The interferometers work with the same MfM software interface for measurement and analysis as the other instruments in the MarSurf CM line of surface metrology instruments. Its evaluation technology uses artificial intelligence to improve its accuracy and increase its robustness. Each model can measure topography, roughness, layer thickness and microgeometries. The system reaches a vertical resolution of up to 0.2 nanometer.
