Fanuc adds three-axis models to SCARA robot lineup

The SR-3iA/H and SR-6iA/H three-axis models are an economical alternative to small linear slide products.

SR-3iA/H and SR-6iA/H Fanuc’s high-performance SCARA robots are suited for assembly, packaging, pick-and-place and inspection tasks and are ideal when speed and repeatability are essential. Powered by the R-30iB Compact Plus controller, the SCARA robots feature integrated iRVision, conveyor tracking, and fieldbus connectivity. The controller requires minimal space and allows for installation flexibility. The company’s iRProgrammer user interface makes it easy to set up and program the robots on a tablet or PC; a teach pendant is optional.  

What’s new? The SR-3iA/H and SR-6iA/H three-axis models, which join a variety of four-axis robots in Fanuc’s product lineup. The SR-3iA/H has a 1.3-foot reach and the SR-6iA/H has a 2.1-foot reach.
