Purchasing company formed to aid Gindumac Group

The Platform Group, which acquired Gindumac GmbH in 2020, founded a purchasing company called Machinery Purchase & Fulfillment GmbH (MPF GmbH), which has an associated investment fund available to Gindumac for direct investments. With subsidiaries in Germany, Spain and India, the Gindumac Group runs an online platform for global trade in used metal and plastics processing machinery.

The Gindumac management team members Benedikt Ruf and Janek Andre will also handle management of MPF GmbH.

“We have many plans for Gindumac,” said Dominik Benner, CEO of The Platform Group. “The used machinery market is growing. For me it was a necessary step with the purchasing company and the investment fund to give more opportunities to the two managing directors, to actively invest in growth.”
