X2F names new director of technology

X2F has selected Ken Jacob to be the company’s director of technology.

Jacob comes to X2F with more than 25 years of experience in product development, machine design, engineering and hot-runner systems, most recently working as global manager for Mold-Masters Ltd.

X2F’s founder and CTO, Rick Fitzpatrick, welcomed Jacob to the company. “We’re thrilled to have someone of Ken’s caliber with deep technical experience and leadership qualities,” Fitzpatrick said. “He will be an invaluable part of our team, helping us manage and direct our technical resources through an exciting period of growth.”

Based in Loveland, Colo., X2F has developed a unique molding technology that uses controlled viscosity and a patented pulse-packing technique to create high-value components from materials that were previously considered unmoldable.
