Cabinet cooler Exair’s cabinet cooler systems cool compressed air to 20 degrees Fahrenheit and circulate it throughout an electrical enclosure to prevent heat damage and shutdowns. The coolers, which don’t use refrigerants, can be installed quickly through a standard electrical knockout hole and have no moving parts to wear out. Applications include variable frequency drives, robotics and industrial computers. Prices for the systems start at $492.

What’s new? Customization. Exair now can tailor the systems for use in a variety of challenging conditions, including wet or hazardous locations. For example, for dirty and dusty environments, a purge option creates positive pressure inside the cabinet to keep dirt and debris from entering the control panel. A selection of materials that withstand corrosion is available. The company also can provide systems for use in temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Benefits More options for low-cost cooling of electrical control panels.
