Altair launches multi-material simulation database

Nov. 5, 2020

Altair has launched the Altair Material Data Center, a high-fidelity material database that models metals, plastics and composites for simulation. Altair recently acquired M-Base, and that company’s plastic material database has been added to the Altair Material Data Center, which can be used by designers, engineers, and scientists to explore material choices for a range of properties.

Headquartered in Troy, Mich., Altair specializes in data analytics, simulation, and high-performance computing.
